This article is for the person who wants to lose fat and gain muscle, not for the person who is overweight and needs to lose large amounts of bodyfat.
Lets take a 210 lb male who is 5’10” tall and is carrying bodyfat. This person wants to gain muscle but not get fat and also not gain anymore weight. The way to do this, and this is not an overnight success story, is to lose the bodyfat gradually while adding the muscle weight. For example: if this person over the course of 8 months loses 5 lbs of true bodyfat and adds 3 lbs of true muscle to his body, the scale is only going to reflect a -2 lb change in the numbers on the scale. But in reality this person has lost 5 lbs of fat and the added 3 lbs of muscle will show a change in body composition.
Bigger more pronounced muscles with leaner bodyfat and a bodyweight of 208 lbs. There doesn’t need to be a significant change in the numbers on the scale. They are just that, numbers. If this is something you want to do, contact me and lets begin this journey together.
